Sot'Ajarchi in Ancona was opened in 1991 by Fabio and Paola and sits under the arcades in front of the Fish Market in the city's fishermen's quarter. Since 2012 their daughter Francesca has been working in the kitchen; the dining room was expanded and refreshed in 2019. The menu focuses on Adriatic fish and seafood, cooked to order and driven by seasonality and market availability, with attention to sustainability and closures during the fishing moratorium.
