Stefenelli Desk, led by chef Marco Stefenelli, serves modern Italian cuisine that combines ingredients from the Valle d'Aosta with influences from northern Europe and Ireland. The restaurant occupies a restored 1772 building in a lane of Aosta's historic centre and has two dining rooms for about forty covers: a bistrot-style room and a more intimate vaulted space with columns. Menu dishes include warm veal tongue on crostini, a crispy poached egg with potato and fontina fondue and black truffle, sockeye salmon with lobster sauce and preparations featuring alpine char; the wine list places emphasis on local producers and rediscovered regional grapes.
