In Bergamo, Lio Pellegrini leads the kitchen of his namesake restaurant, open since spring 1984, focusing on seasonal cooking rooted in home-cooking gestures and local ingredients such as shellfish, molluscs, foie gras and truffle. Bread is baked twice daily and the menu features dishes like linguine with four tomatoes, scallop skewers with foie gras and white truffle, and polenta with porcini and buttered egg. The venue offers a south-facing internal garden with limited summer seating, a bright veranda for up to 20 guests, a temperature-controlled cellar and a roughly 45 m² guest room reserved for restaurant clients.
