Il Rivale in Città, led by the Favalli brothers and Stefano Bignotti, serves Italian cuisine rooted in Lombard tradition: classic recipes prepared using traditional techniques alongside modern methods. The menu highlights fresh lake and sea fish, Italian meats, daily-made pasta and baked goods, local cured meats and cheeses, truffle, seasonal produce and selected flours. The restaurant is housed in Palazzo Martinoni Caleppio, an 18th-century building with grand 19th-century rooms in Brescia.
