La Gioconda is set in the ancient cellars of the seventeenth‑century Nobile palazzo Brancuti in Cagli. Below street level three stone dining rooms with modern furnishings and soft lighting host a limited number of tables, while in summer meals are served outdoors in the village. The kitchen, led by the chef born in Cagli in 1982 who opened the restaurant in 2006, focuses on seasonal local produce — homemade bread, pasta al rasagnolo, cod, truffle dishes — and a wine list of over 500 labels with emphasis on regional wines and vintages.
