L'Acquario was established within the walled borgo of Castiglione del Lago and has been operating since 1992 in the historic centre. It serves traditional Umbrian cuisine with homemade pasta and bread and highlights local ingredients such as the Trasimeno fagiolina and saffron. Through cooperation with local fishing cooperatives the menu features lake fish like carpa regina, perch, eel and tench, and a selection of regional and Italian wine labels complements the dishes.
