Materia | Spazio Cucina is the culinary workshop located inside Habitat Hotel in Catania, led by Chef Bianca Celano, who has worked with the hotel since 2020. The menu blends Sicilian and modern cuisine with ingredients from small local producers — Etna black-bee honey, perciasacchi and russello flours, Val di Noto almonds, ricotta from Vizzini, black-pig cured meats and artisanal candied citrus. The kitchen team uses the hotel's vertical garden, follows seasonality and converts surpluses into preserves and jams sold in the hotel's Bottega.
