Founded in 1981 in the historic center of Maratea, Taverna Rovita occupies a former confraternity later turned tavern in the 18th century, on Via Rovita near Piazza Buraglia. The kitchen focuses on Lucanian and local coastal traditions, offering two tasting menus, Tràdere and Suggestioni, that highlight regional ingredients. The dining room is spread over eight tables in several small rooms, with a main room featuring Vietri-style floors, a Sala Cantina with wine niches and an Artgallery that accommodates up to 10 guests.
