Radici – L’Osteria di Accursio in Modica is an osteria located in the historic centre, housed in an old palazzo beside the duomo of San Pietro and led by chef Accursio Craparo. Opened in 2019, it focuses on Sicilian popular recipes using garden produce, locally foraged herbs and trusted local suppliers; highlighted dishes include bread dumplings with house sauce, cannelloni al ragù, roasted lamb, pasta with sardines, roasted octopus on macco di fave, ricotta cannolo and the Uovo di Accursio. The chef often presents dishes himself and shares their stories with guests.
