Mater is a gastronomic restaurant set in the Casentino forest in Moggiona, opened in 2017 and led by chef Filippo Baroni. It offers a seasonal tasting menu built on nearby ingredients, wild herbs, fermentations, preserves, charcoal cooking and produce from its garden; the dining room features wooden furnishings, artisanal silver and vegetal aromas evoking the woods.
