L'Ancora della Tortuga in Monterosso al Mare is partly built on the rock of Colle di San Cristoforo and offers a panoramic terrace overlooking the sea of the Cinque Terre. Since 2007 Silvia and Giovanni Battista Viviani have managed the restaurant; the kitchen, led by chefs Giovanni Battista Viviani and Fabrizio Leoncini, emphasizes daily-selected catch, freshly made pasta, gnocchi with inland potatoes, seafood starters, homemade desserts and a selection of Ligurian and national wines.
