Palazzo Branciforte in Palermo, selected by the MICHELIN Guide, is housed in the late-16th-century palazzo that also serves as an exhibition venue. The modern Italian kitchen is led by chef Gaetano Billeci and offers à la carte and tasting menus, daily long-fermented bread, artisanal pastry and a cellar of about 500 labels. The indoor dining room (about 40 covers) features a collection of antique Sicilian maiolica; the external baglio with a fountain, covered for winter use, seats up to 120 and serves aperitifs with cocktails and chef’s bites.
