Upepidde in Ruvo di Puglia, established in 1990 in the historic town centre, occupies rooms with exposed stone and frescoes furnished in a rustic-elegant style. Chef Michelangelo Sparapano (born 1989), trained also in a starred London restaurant and a member of the Nazionale Italiana Cuochi, leads a menu of traditional Apulian dishes made with simple seasonal ingredients and supported by a wine list focused on local labels. In the evenings the dining room is candlelit and intimate.
