La Fossa del Grano, located in the historic centre of San Severo opposite an old grain pit, is a family-run trattoria opened on 23 August 1997. With under 30 covers and brick-vaulted dining rooms, the kitchen is led by Giuseppe Stella; pasta and bread are made daily and a family workshop 50 metres away produces orecchiette, cavatelli and troccoli. Ingredients are sourced from trusted local producers and the menu changes with the seasons; the restaurant is selected by the MICHELIN Guide.
