Description

Au Bon Climat’s "Knox Alexander" is a Pinot Noir from the Santa Maria Valley, blended from select lots including Bien Nacido, Solomon Hills, Rancho Real and North Canyon. Aromas of cherry, cranberry and red currant are complemented by herbal sage notes; the palate shows fine tannins, lively acidity and a structured profile that rewards bottle aging. The wine reflects the producer’s Burgundian-inspired approach adapted to cool-climate California Pinot Noir.
