Description

Macán Clásico 2018 from Benjamin de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia is a red wine from the DOCa Rioja, produced in the Sonsierra area of La Rioja. It is made entirely from Tempranillo grapes sourced from limestone parcels with sandy-clay soils in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Ábalos, Labastida and Elvillar. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged 12–14 months in new and second-fill French oak barrels and single-use American oak, then rested in bottle for at least 18 months before release.
