Description

Contador is Benjamín Romeo’s flagship wine from Rioja DOCa, produced from a careful selection of small, low-yield vineyard parcels in Rioja Alavesa (including San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Briones and Ábalos). It is predominantly Tempranillo with small additions of Graciano and Mazuelo (approximately 94%/3%/3%). Grapes are harvested by hand and rigorously selected, and the wine is aged in French oak barrels for an extended period. Specific blend proportions and aging details may vary by vintage.
