Description

The 2017 Epokale from Cantina Tramin is a late-harvest Gewürztraminer produced under the Alto Adige DOC. Sourced from historic vineyards in Termeno, it undergoes extended lees contact in steel followed by prolonged ageing in the Ridanna Monteneve mine; residual sugar is 66 g/l. The wine is concentrated and highly aromatic—floral and exotic notes balanced by freshness—and has a notable ageing potential.
