Description

Domaine Kumpf et Meyer produces the Pinot Noir “Weingarten” in Rosheim, Alsace. It is a Pinot Noir from the Weingarten lieu-dit, planted on south-facing clay-limestone soils. Vinification includes roughly 21 days of maceration, about 90% destemming and around one year of aging in old barrels; the wine is made without added sulphites and is unfiltered. It is sold under the Alsace designation.
