Donnafugata’s Mille e una Notte 2020 is a Sicilia DOC red produced mainly at the Contessa Entellina estate in southwestern Sicily. The cuvée is led by Nero d’Avola and complemented by Petit Verdot and Syrah; the producer also notes the inclusion of “other grapes” that are not specified. After fermentation and separate vinification of the varieties, the wine is matured for about 14 months in French oak barriques and then bottled with nearly two years of bottle ageing before release. It shows a structured, balanced profile consistent with the estate’s style.
