Description

The Dr. Loosen Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese 2013 is a late-harvest white Riesling from the renowned Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard in the Mosel. Aromas include ripe peach and apricot, mirabelle plum, honey and delicate floral and citrus notes. On the palate it is juicy and concentrated, with sweetness that is harmoniously balanced by lively acidity and pronounced slate-driven minerality. It shows good ageing potential when cellared appropriately.
