Description

Elena Walch’s Passito “Cashmere” (vintage 2023) is a late-harvest Gewürztraminer from Alto Adige bottled under the Alto Adige DOC designation. It shows a golden colour with slight amber highlights and an intense aromatic profile of dried apricot, candied fruit, rose petals and touches of orange and caramel. On the palate it is highly concentrated yet balanced, with sweetness tempered by refreshing acidity and a juicy, structured finish. The wine is fermented and matured in stainless steel with extended bottle ageing prior to release.
