Description

The Elena Walch Lagrein Riserva Vigna “Castel Ringberg” 2023 is a red Alto Adige Lagrein Riserva DOC made from the indigenous Lagrein grown in the Castel Ringberg single vineyard above Lake Caldaro. It shows an intense garnet color with aromas of red and forest fruits — blueberry, currant and cherry — with subtle tobacco and dark chocolate notes. On the palate it delivers structure, pronounced tannins and concentrated fruit, consistent with a Riserva-style Lagrein.
