Description

Franz Haas’s “Schweizer” Pinot Noir is a red wine from the Alto Adige DOC made from carefully selected Pinot Noir grapes. The fruit comes from vineyards at about 350–700 m above sea level; winemaking includes open-top fermentation and roughly 12 months of ageing in barrique followed by further bottle maturation. The wine displays a ruby-red colour with aromas of ripe red berries, cherry and subtle spice, supported by fine tannins and an elegant, balanced structure.
