Description

Mormoreto 2022 from Marchesi de' Frescobaldi is a Toscana IGT produced at the Castello di Nipozzano estate. It is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and a small proportion of Sangiovese. After fermentation and malolactic conversion the wine is aged about 18 months in French oak barriques. Aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and cassis are complemented by spicy and balsamic notes; on the palate it is intense, with velvety tannins and a long finish.
