Description

Riesling from the single vineyard Rüdesheimer Berg Roseneck in the Rheingau, presenting stone-fruit and citrus aromas—notably orange peel—along with old-wood and mineral-spice notes. The wine matures eleven months in large old wooden barrels (1200 l and 600 l) and then rests for 36 months in bottle before release. On the palate it is very long, supported by saline minerality, bright acidity and a slight tannic grip, finishing with pronounced depth. Pairs well with marinated salmon, blue trout, shellfish and light poultry.
