Description

The Donà D’Or 2019 from Hartmann Donà is a reserve Chardonnay labelled Mitterberg Chardonnay IGT, made from grapes grown on three vineyards with granite, porphyry and clay-limestone soils. Winemaking includes spontaneous fermentation, malolactic fermentation in wood and extended aging on the lees. It shows a golden-yellow colour with aromas of Williams pear, banana, melted butter and vanilla; the palate is creamy and smooth with a long mineral finish and a hint of salty lemon.
