Description

Konrad Oberhofer Vigna Pirchschrait is a Gewürztraminer from J. Hofstätter made from grapes of the historic Pirchschrait parcel within the Vigna Kolbenhof in Alto Adige. Fermentation and ageing take place in stainless steel, with about 10 years’ maturation on fine lees in 500L stainless-steel vessels for this Alto Adige DOC wine (sometimes labelled Riserva). The wine reflects the dolomitic and porphyry soils of the site and is presented as a long-lived, single-vineyard expression.
