Description

J. Hofstätter’s Barthenau Vigna S. Urbano is a single-vineyard Pinot Noir from the San Urbano site in Mazon (Termeno), released as Alto Adige DOC Riserva. Fermentation in concrete tanks and ageing in barrique yield aromas of Morello cherry and raspberry with subtle vanilla and spice nuances. It shows solid structure and ageing potential; serve at 14–16 °C with red meat, game and medium-aged cheeses.
