Description

Made by Kettmeir as a Metodo Classico Extra Brut, the “1919” Reserve (vintage 2018) is an Alto Adige DOC sparkling wine based mainly on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with Pinot Blanc noted in the producer’s specifications. It shows a straw-yellow hue with golden highlights and an extremely fine perlage, offering a layered bouquet from candied citrus and ripe fruit to spiced and pastry-like aromas. The wine undergoes bottle fermentation and remains on the lees for an average of at least 60 months before release, a long aging that supports its depth and savory tension.
