Description

Romeo is Mura Mura’s Piemonte Rosso, a Barbera-led blend with Nebbiolo, Grignolino and Ruché. The vineyards are located at Costigliole d’Asti on clay and silt soils with limestone marl, facing west and southwest. The wine’s components mature separately in French oak tonneaux and then in ceramic amphorae before blending and rest in bottle. Its profile combines ripe fruit and spicy complexity with structure and fine tannins. The proportions of the grape varieties are adjusted according to the vintage to establish the balance of the cuvée.
