Description

Baron Edmond is the flagship wine from Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons, produced as a classic Bordeaux-style blend in the Western Cape region. The 2022 vintage shows a layered aromatic profile with notes of liquorice, cedar and spice; on the palate it offers red and black fruit framed by fine, well-integrated tannins and a balanced finish. It is made from typical Bordeaux varietiesā€”predominantly Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Francā€”and comes from the producerā€™s estate in the Franschhoek area of the Western Cape.
