Description

The 2016 Schieferkopf Alsace Riesling Lieu‑dit Buehl is a single‑vineyard Riesling from the Lieu‑dit Buehl plot in Bernardvillé, released under the AOP Alsace Riesling appellation. Planted on a strip of blue schist, the wine is fermented with native yeasts, undergoes complete malolactic fermentation and is matured about 15 months in large foudres. Certified organic since 2014, it typically shows concentrated structure with mineral character and notes of ripe fruit and citrus.
