Description

Agnès Paquet’s Pommard Les Combes 2017 is a red wine from the Pommard appellation made from grapes grown in the “Les Combes” parcel on the border with Volnay. The vines are partly old (1934–1937) and partly replanted in 2013 on clay-limestone soils. Vinification includes roughly 20 days of fermentation in concrete tanks and about 12 months of barrel élevage (c. 10% new oak). The wine combines ripe fruit concentration with supporting tannic structure, in line with Côte de Beaune red style.
