Description

Alain Chavy’s 2022 Bourgogne Chardonnay is a 100% Chardonnay white from vineyards near Puligny‑Montrachet. Aromas of green apple and citrus are complemented by a pronounced mineral thread; the palate is lean, taut and light-bodied. The wine is fermented with inoculated yeasts and aged roughly 12 months in oak (400 L puncheons with a small proportion of new wood), with limited bâtonnage. It pairs well with fish, shellfish and lightly creamy dishes.
