Description

Alain Jeanniard Pommard Premier Cru Les Arvelets is a Côte de Beaune Pinot Noir, part of the range of the producer based in Morey-Saint-Denis. Hand harvesting is accompanied by careful selection of the grapes. In the cellar, the traditional approach involves a proportion of whole bunches, extended maceration and punching down. Maturation takes place in oak barrels, with a restrained proportion of new wood. The cuvée represents Jeanniard’s presence in Pommard alongside the different Côte de Nuits origins in his range.
