Description
Domaine Alain Michelot Bourgogne Rouge is a Pinot Noir from brown, calcareous soils. The vines are Guyot pruned and the soil cultivated, with manual work during the growing season. Harvesting is followed by grape sorting and destemming. A pre-fermentation maceration precedes fermentation, accompanied by punching down and checks on temperature and density. After pressing, the wine moves into barrels, where malolactic fermentation also takes place. It is the regional expression within the range of this family estate based in Nuits-Saint-Georges.
