Description

Domaine Alain Michelot Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Les Porêts Saint-Georges belongs to the red-wine range of the family based in Nuits. The cellar approach favours slow winemaking, with most grapes destemmed and an extended maceration. After pressing, the wine is allowed to settle and transferred with its fine lees into oak barrels. The proportion of new wood is adapted to the vintage. Maturation in the cool cellars proceeds gradually, with the aim of refining the tannic structure before the wine is bottled.
