Description

Lorraine from Alban is a single‑vineyard, 100% Syrah produced from the Lorraine block in Edna Valley, San Luis Obispo County, California. It is aged approximately 3.5 years in barrel and bottled unfined and unfiltered. The marine-derived soils of cobbles and sandstone give the wine a profile of bright red fruit and sweet, rounded tannins. Lorraine is one of Alban's named single-vineyard Syrahs and reflects the estate's Rhône-style approach.
