Description

Patrina brings together Syrah parcels at Alban Vineyards situated between the estate's named single-vineyard sites. Its name refers to trails marked with leaves and grass in Romani tradition, an image chosen by the winery for a wine shaped through blending and its own sensibility. Fermentation takes place in open vessels with indigenous yeasts and gentle extraction, followed by maturation in barrel. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration. In the producer's description, concentration and density accompany black and blue fruits, flowers and mineral suggestions, retaining a lively and youthful expression.
