Description

The 2022 Sfursat di Valtellina “Fruttaio Ca’ Rizzieri” by Aldo Rainoldi is a DOCG red wine made from Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) grapes that undergo drying (appassimento). Grapes are dried in the Ca’ Rizzieri fruttaio and the wine is then aged in oak for an extended period. It shows full structure with concentrated ripe fruit and spicy notes, consistent with Valtellina’s sfursat style. The wine is produced in the Chiuro area (Sondrio province).
