Description

Aldrighetti’s Amarone Classico della Valpolicella is a red wine from the Valpolicella Classica (Valgatara/Marano) produced by drying (appassimento) the grapes. The blend is Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara, with about three months of drying, followed by vinification in steel and roughly 3–4 years of aging in oak; alcohol is 15.5%. The wine shows full body with ripe dark-fruit aromas, spicy hints and vanilla notes from oak aging.
