Description

Frénésie is Alexandre Lamblot's focused interpretation of Meunier from Vrigny. Old vines in the Fourgons, Gloies, Les Pierres and Grand Chemin parcels grow predominantly on Thanetian sands with a component of Ypresian silts. Working with a single grape variety provides a precise perspective on this group of soils. Attention to biodiversity and slow pressing form part of an approach intended to preserve the integrity of the grapes. The cuvée is released without dosage, allowing its balance to emerge from the substance of the wine and its maturation rather than a final addition of sugar.
