Description

La Coroche belongs to Alexandre Lamblot's Collection de lieux, devoted to individual vineyard origins. Its Meunier comes from the namesake parcel in Janvry, planted in the 1970s on Ypresian clay. This clay-based origin gives it an identity distinct from the estate's selections associated with sandy soils. Vineyard work favours living soils and biodiversity, while pressing proceeds slowly with careful separation of the different fractions. The cuvée is conceived as a single-site Champagne, placing the relationship between one grape variety, one place and the grower's interpretation at the centre of the wine.
