Description
La Vigne à Vovonne is Alexandre Lamblot's interpretation of Les Clos, a Pinot Noir parcel planted in Vrigny in 1984. Thanetian sands, Ypresian silts and a vein of green clay form its geological setting. The Champagne version belongs to the Collection de lieux and retains an identity separate from the still wine produced from the same vineyard. The estate's approach begins with healthy soils and slow, progressive pressing. A single plot therefore provides the cuvée's defining thread: a way of exploring Pinot Noir through a precisely delimited vineyard origin and the grower's work within it.
