Description

The Ageius 2017 from Alexis is a Grand Cru Champagne from Aÿ made entirely from Pinot Noir sourced from the “La Fosse” parcel. It is vinified with indigenous yeasts in 400 L barrels, without malolactic fermentation, and a declared dosage of about 3 g/L. The wine shows a golden colour with ripe red-fruit and jammy aromas; on the palate it is generous, savoury and supported by the chalky mineral character of the terroir.
