Description

Allegrini’s La Poja 2016 is a single-vineyard red made from Corvina Veronese grapes grown on the La Poja plateau in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella (Veneto). The grapes are harvested late in the season; the wine is aged about 20 months in new Allier barriques, followed by time in large Slavonian casks and bottle ageing. It is released as Corvina Veronese IGT and is produced as a monovarietal expression of this specific cru.
