Description

Alta Vista’s Alto is a Mendoza red combining Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon selected from small, low-yielding vineyard parcels. Manual harvesting is followed by a double selection of the grapes on the sorting table. Vinification takes place in small lined concrete tanks, with careful extraction of components from the skins. The wine matures in French oak and continues developing in bottle. Its profile combines dark fruit, spice and chocolate; concentration is accompanied by silky tannins and a long finish, reflecting the blending approach that defines this cuvée within the estate’s range.
