Description

Altemasi Rosé is a Trentodoc made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown on the high hills around Trento and the Brentonico plateau. Harvesting is manual; Chardonnay ferments in stainless steel, while Pinot Noir has brief skin contact to acquire its pink colour. A second fermentation takes place in bottle, followed by time on the lees. Coppery highlights and fine bubbles accompany suggestions of cherry, currant and wild strawberry. The palate is rich and balanced, with a persistent finish that supports serving the wine alongside white meat dishes.
