Description
Álvaro Palacios’s Finca Dofí 2019 comes from Gratallops in Priorat, from the Camp d’en Piqué, La Baixada and Coll de Falset vineyards. The vines grow on llicorella, the region’s characteristic siliceous slate, and are cultivated using organic practices. The blend includes Garnacha and Cariñena, with small contributions from Garnacha Blanca and Macabeo. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts takes place in wood, followed by fourteen months of maturation. The wine combines substance and vitality, with red fruit, polished tannins and freshness. The Dofí name has accompanied the estate since its first harvest in 1989.
